Collecting debug logs from your LogMeIn hosts and client
Both your hosts and your client can collect debug logs that help you and our Support Team troubleshoot potential issues. If you do not experience connection or performance issues, do not enable debug-level logging.
Remember: Enabling debug-level logging significantly increases the size of log files on your hard drive. You should only enable this feature if you need extensive debug information or if our Support Team advises you to do so.
To get the most detailed information about a potential error with your hosts, it is best to enable debug-level logging both in the client and on the host.

Tip: To enable debug logs on multiple hosts, create a host preference package. See Set behavior for the LogMeIn host's logs.
Reproduce the issue to collect the relevant logs
After enabling debug-level logging, you should reproduce the issue that you have previously run into. After doing so, gather the logs from the following path on your hard drive:
- Client logs: C:\Users\All Users\LogMeIn\LogMeInBrowserPlugin.log
You can also find this file in C:\ProgramData\LogMeIn\LogMeInBrowserPlugin.log
- Host logs: C:\Users\All Users\LogMeIn\LogMeIn.log
You can also find this file in C:\ProgramData\LogMeIn\LogMeIn.log
Log files that were created in previous days are called LMIyyyymmdd.log, where yyyymmdd is the date when the log file was created. For example, LMI20240829.log.
