Remote Support System Settings in GoTo Admin
Update default remote support settings as needed such as, allowing session recording and clipboard sync, requiring multi-factor authentication, and the hiding agent's personal information.
- Sign in at https://admin.goto.com.
- From
tab, you can change the following:
Setting Description Session recording Automatically record all on-screen activity during a session. To learn more, refer to Working with Session Recordings. If an admin does not enable automatic session recording, agents can still capture remote control sessions by typing /recording start and then stop the recording by typing /recording stop in the chat window. Hide end user cursor Allow agents to hide the end-user's cursor during a remote support session and in session recordings. Clipboard sync Allow agents to use clipboard sync during an active remote control session. Multi-factor authentication Require users to enter an MFA code from their mobile authenticator app. If enabled, select Edit to choose a date for forced sign out. Hide agents' personal information Mask sensitive fields (the personal details of agents) in remote support sessions. When enabled, only the agent's first name and email address domain will be visible to the customer. This setting is disabled by default. Note: Enabling this feature does not impact reporting. - Select Save if you made changes.
