About required Windows processes on the remote host
The following processes are created.
Normal running host processes
- lmi.exe
- ra.exe: The RemotelyAnywhere service requires a ra.exe instance, and it will spawn another when a remote control session is in progress.
- lmisystray.exe
- ragui.exe
- lmitoolkit.exe
- LogMeInRC.exe
- ramaint.exe
LMIGuardian
Currently, all and RemotelyAnywhere processes (lmi.exe, ra.exe, lmisystray.exe, ragui.exe, lmitoolkit.exe, ragui.exe) spawn an individual LMIGuardian process. The LMIGuardian catches all unhandled errors our processes might run into (aka crashes), and will report these errors with the user's approval.
