Upgrading from GoToAssist: Self-service flow in the product
To upgrade from GoToAssist and access the self-service flow in the product, follow these steps:
When you move your unattended devices to LogMeIn Resolve, you have the option of going through a self-service migration flow or getting assistance. During the transition, your GoTo Assist data and settings will be transferred to LogMeIn Resolve, but your current device groups and settings will not be moved over. Any devices that you upgrade during the trial will coexist in both LogMeIn Resolve and GoTo Assist until you choose to upgrade them. The process is designed to have minimal impact on your remote support operations, with a connection checker in place to ensure a smooth transition. Before migrating, make sure to review the specific system requirements for using LogMeIn Resolve. Technical support will be available to assist you during the transition, and you can rest assured that there will be no downtime or disruption to your service. After completing the transition, remember to uninstall the GoTo Assist endpoint from your device, and make sure that your agents follow a specific checklist to ensure a seamless upgrade process.
