Switch between remote desktop sessions in LogMeIn Resolve

If multiple users are connected to a device through Remote Desktop, you can select which user's session to join.

  1. Hover over a device in the Devices list.
  2. Click the Remote control option on the right.
  3. When prompted, enter your Signature key.
    Your remote support session is displayed in the Support page of the Console.
  4. Select Switch Remote Desktop Sessions on the toolbar.
  5. Select Join under a remote support session to join.

Limitations related to sessions initiated via RDP

Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) is a proprietary protocol developed by Microsoft that allows users to connect to another computer over a network connection. When you start remote support sessions in LogMeIn Resolve to an unattended device that has a running RDP session, there are a few things to keep in mind:
  • Screen blanking is not working while an RDP session is also active.
  • When you minimize the RDP window, the RDP stream pauses, and you cannot start a remote control session on the device, while the RDP window is on the system tray.
  • You can't use Ctrl-Alt-Del while in an RDP session.
