Review and accept or reject quotes

Review and accept or reject quotes sent to you in your billing portal.

A quote is a price estimate that is created and sent to you by a GoTo sales or support representative. Quotes include details on the proposed product subscriptions and add-ons, their prices, and total charges.

Quotes aren't invoices – you won't be charged unless you accept the quote. Once a quote is sent, you can review it and choose to either accept or reject it. Once you accept a quote, you'll be charged either at checkout or on your plan's effective start date.

Important: Quotes will expire seven days after being issued if you haven't taken action on it.

You'll receive an email when you have a quote waiting for review in your billing portal.

Review and manage quotes in GoTo Admin

Review and accept/reject quotes in GoTo Admin.

Before you begin: You must be a billing admin to perform this task.
  1. Sign in to GoTo Admin.
  2. Go to Billing icon Billing > Quotes from the left navigation menu.
  3. Review the quote details, which can include the following info:
    • Contract period and renewal date.
    • Total charges for the contract period.
    • Total savings for the contract period.
    • Total charges for the contract period, broken down by each product, add-on, and device.
    • Quote order summary, with taxes included.
    Tip: Hover your mouse over Info icon in any of the widgets to learn how the info was calculated.
  4. Select Export icon next to the quote number to download the quote as a PDF.
  5. Choose to accept or reject the quote.
    • Select Continue to checkout to accept the quote and checkout.
    • Select Reject to reject the quote.

    Result: If you've rejected a quote, you're done! You don't need to complete the remaining steps.

  6. Review and update your billing info.
    1. Select Edit icon to update your billing address.
    2. Select Next when you're done.
  7. Review and update your payment details as needed.
    1. If you don't have a payment method added to your billing account, select Add payment method and follow the on-screen instructions to add a new payment.
    2. Select Next when you're done.
  8. Review your order.
    1. Select Edit icon next to Billing info or Payment details if you want to make any changes.
  9. Verify your Admin contact info is correct.
  10. Check the box under Admin contact info, then select Buy now to complete checkout and accept the quote.
