Remote print during a session
Remote printing enables agents to print documents from the end-user's device using their local printers during remote control sessions.
Before you begin: Make sure that the following prerequisites are met:
- LogMeIn Resolve is running on a Windows 10 or later operating system
- You have an active remote control session
- LogMeIn Resolve is installed on the end-user's device
When LogMeIn Resolve is installed on the end user's device, it includes the Microsoft Print Library. During remote sessions, the system automatically sets LogMeIn Resolve printer as the default printer. When the end-user initiates printing, a .pdf file gets created in the background, which is sent to the agent. This printed .pdf file appears in the print dialog on the agent's screen, allowing them to print it.
Important: This feature is not available in instant remote sessions and in MacOS environments.
Results: A Print dialog opens on the agent's computer and allows them to print the document on any printer configured on their device.
