View updates installed by a LogMeIn Resolve policy

  1. In the Console, go to the Devices > Updates page.
All available Windows updates are displayed.
  2. Select the History tab above the list of updates.
The status of updates provides the following information:
    • Running: The installation of updates is in progress.
    • Successful: All selected updates have been successfully installed.
    • Partially successful: Some updates failed to install while others succeeded.
    • Failed: The installation of all the updates failed.
    • Scheduled: The updates were scheduled to be installed on the device later.
    • Canceled: An agent manually canceled the installation of the updates.
When you have too many updates listed in the History tab, you can filter them by selecting Add filter above the list of updates. Filtering options are displayed on the right.
  3. Search for the name of your installed updates.
  4. Hover over an update and select See details to view the details of the installation process.
Note: LogMeIn Resolve uses Remote Execution jobs to install Windows updates.
  5. Hover over an update and select See details again to view the status of the individual updates.
The list of installed Windows and application updates is shown. If any updates fail, the reason for the failure is provided in the Error description column.
Note: You can download a log of the installation process to view additional details. See Work with logs in Remote Execution.

Results: The following is an example of a partially successful application update.
