Resolve alerts with Remote Execution

With pre-defined Remote Execution templates, you can resolve alerts. Resolving alerts does not automatically acknowledge it.

Before you begin: Make sure you have Remote Execution templates saved.
Remember: Alerts are available for users with Advanced and Complete licenses. Alerts can be set up for verified devices only.
  1. In the Console, go to the Devices > Alerts page.
    The Alerts page is displayed.
  2. Hover over an alert that you want to resolve.
  3. Click the icon on the right and select Solve with remote execution.
  4. Select a Remote Execution template that you have previously created.
    Only those templates are listed that are compatible with the device's platform (Windows or Mac) that sent the alert.
  5. Click Create and run job.
    Remember: When you resolve an alert with Remote Execution, you cannot schedule the job.
  6. Confirm your zero trust key when prompted.
  7. In the bottom-right, click View job to see the progress of your Remote Execution job.
    The Remote Execution page is displayed.

Results: Running a job does not automatically acknowledge the alert. Go back to the Alerts page to do so.
