Enable browser notifications in LogMeIn Resolve
End-users and agents can enable browser notifications to get a message when the end-user creates a new request or when an agent starts a support session.
Remember: Desktop Console and the mobile app do not support notifications yet.
Depending on your browser, you may have a slightly different experience when allowing notifications.
- The first time the end-user sends a support request, they see a notification in the top-left corner of the screen.
End-user experience in a FireFox browser - As an agent, select Allow to get a notification about subsequent end-user support requests.
Agent experience in a Chrome browser
Enable blocked notifications in Chrome
If you have blocked notifications and you want to enable those later on, here's what to do:
- In the top-right corner of your browser, click the three dots to open the menu.
- Find the site where you want to enable notifications:
- As an end-user, select helpdesk.me
- As an agent, select console.gootresolve.com
Enable blocked notifications in FireFox
- In the top-right corner of your browser, click the three lines to open the menu.
- At the top of the page, search for "Notifications", and select Settings next to the Notifications permission.
- Find the website where you want to enable notifications:
- As an end-user, select helpdesk.me
- As an agent, select console.gootresolve.com
