Silence antivirus threats

In some cases, for example when you replace your antivirus software, a threat may get stuck in LogMeIn Resolve, which may result in displaying false antivirus status information on the Devices page. In this case, you can manually silence threats to mark them as Handled.
  1. Go to the Antivirus details page of a device and select an active threat by its checkbox.
  2. Select Silence threat from the side panel on the right.
  3. Enter your zero trust signature key to proceed.
If there are no more active threats, the Protection status summary panel on the left is automatically updated in about 20 seconds.
What to do next: If you accidentally silence an antivirus threat, you can change it to active by selecting the threat and then selecting Unsilence threat.
