Deploy LogMeIn Resolve with unattended access in intune

This article describes the recommended configuration of the LogMeIn Resolve mobile app on Microsoft Intune.

Add LogMeIn Resolve through Managed Google Play

Enroll your Android device and set up an Android work profile, separating your work data on your device from your personal data. This method is currently working for Samsung devices only, and only applications in the work profile can be accessed remotely.

Alternatively you can factory reset your corporate device and enroll it with the Microsoft Intune app.

Note: Android 6.0 or above (the latest Android version is recommended)
  1. Log in to In tune at https://endpoint.microsoft.com/.
  2. Go To Apps in the left navigation pane.
  3. Click Add in the top navigation bar.
  4. Select Managed Google Play app from the right pane.
Note: If you don't have access to Managed Google Play, you can request an APK from us.
  5. Click Select. The Managed Google Play store is displayed where you can search for the GoTo Resolve app
  6. Select the LogMeIn Resolve app.
  7. Click Approve.
Important: Do not assign the LogMeIn Resolve app at this point to a configuration policy or user.

Read through carefully the permissions and setting you want to approve. Once done, the app gets added to your account.

Set up an app configuration for LogMeIn Resolve

  1. Navigate to Apps in the left navigation pane.
  2. Select App Configuration Policies.
  3. Click Add and select Managed devices on the top of the right pane to create a new App Configuration policy.
  4. Enter a name for your policy.
  5. Set Android Enterprise as the platform.
  6. Set All Profile Types as the profile type.
  7. Add LogMeIn Resolve as the targeted app.
Note: Populate the App Configuration with company information from the console.gotoresolve.com/pair site using a JSON Configurator.

Assign the LogMeIn Resolve app to your target audience

  1. Navigate to Apps in the left navigation pane.
  2. Select Android under By platform.
  3. Select and click LogMeIn Resolve.
  4. Click Properties.
  5. Click Edit next to Assignments.
  6. Assign LogMeIn Resolve to users or groups depending on your needs.
  7. Wait some time and check the install status under Apps | Android > Android apps > LogMeIn Resolve > Device install status.
Important: You have to verify the newly added devices in LogMeIn Resolve to be able to use the full unattended remote control experience.
