Agents can use the Clipboard Synchronization feature to transfer text in both directions between their computer and the end-user's device during an active Remote Control session.
- During an active Remote Control session, click Clipboard Sync Off on the toolbar.
Result: Clipboard Sync is enabled, and the icon label changes to Clipboard Sync On.
- Select the text you want to cut or copy from either device.
Tip: When you sign in to a Windows computer during a remote control session, you can copy and paste the user name and password to the Windows login screen.
- Cut or copy the selected text by using the method required by your operating system. (For example, CTRL+C keyboard shortcut on Windows)
Note: When agents running the console in Firefox or Safari copy text from the end-user's device, they need to click the Click here to copy notification on the End-user Interaction Panel to confirm their action.
- Click to the location on the other device where you want to paste the content of the clipboard, and use the paste method required by your operating system. (For example, CTRL+V keyboard shortcut on Windows)
