Unlock a local Mac user account
With LogMeIn Resolve MDM, you can unlock a local user account on your managed Mac device after the user fails their sign-in attempt too many times.
When creating a
password policy for local users on a managed Mac device, you can set the maximum number of failed attempts for signing in. When the user exceeds this limit, the account is locked.
LogMeIn Resolve MDM enables you to unlock these accounts.
Note: You can only unlock local user accounts on devices where a password policy for local users was deployed through LogMeIn Resolve MDM. This feature cannot be used to unlock user accounts managed in Active Directory or Open Directory, or if the password policy was not deployed through LogMeIn Resolve MDM.
Results: Upon connecting to the LogMeIn Resolve MDM server, the account is unlocked and the user can attempt to sign in again.
