Schedule user import from Microsoft Active Directory to LogMeIn Resolve MDM

Learn how you can schedule the connector to run repeatedly.

Before you begin: Make sure the connector is located on a server, which has access to Active Directory and LogMeIn Resolve MDM.

LogMeIn Resolve MDM connector for Microsoft Active Directory is used to import user information from Active Directory to LogMeIn Resolve MDM.

  1. Open Windows Task Scheduler on the Server.

  2. From the Actions menu, click Create Task to create a Scheduled Task.
  3. On the General tab, name the task and select the Run whether user is logged on or not option. For running the connector, it is recommended to use a domain service account that has the "password never expires" setting enabled.
  4. On the Triggers tab, click New to create a trigger for the Scheduled Task.
  5. Set a preferred schedule for the Trigger. In the picture, the connector is set to run daily at 1 AM.

  6. On the Actions tab, click New to create an action for the Scheduled Task.
  7. Click Browse and find the path to the extracted connector (e.g. C:\LogMeIn Resolve MDMConnectorForMicrosoftActiveDirectory\mdadconnector.exe).
  8. In the Task Scheduler window, right-click the new task and click Run to verify it works without problems.
  9. The result for the task should be 0x0 if the connector was executed successfully.
