Why did the signature of the LogMeIn Rescue certificates change?
The LogMeIn Rescue application will now be signed by GoTo, Inc. This is a technical modification that does not affect subscriptions or features, and users can view the new digital signature in the Properties or Certificate details of the application.
As of November 2024, the LogMeIn Rescue application will be signed by GoTo, Inc. LogMeIn has been renamed GoTo as early as February 2022 and this change makes sure that the new name is reflected in the digital signature of our applications as well.
What does this change mean to me?
The new GoTo-signed LogMeIn Rescue application does not bring any change to you. Neither your subscription nor the available features will be any different. This is only a technical modification that happens in the background but does not impact your day-to-day work with LogMeIn Rescue.
