View session history and notes in the Web Technician Console

This article gives guidance to Rescue technicians.

Use the History & notes tab to view the session log and any notes made during past sessions with the current in-session device.

Before you begin: Make sure to enable the Display History and Notes option for the technician group in the Admin Center. See Create a technician group and assign permissions.
This centralized log allows technicians and administrators to track activities, review past interactions, and ensure compliance with internal policies or regulatory requirements.
  1. During an active session, select the History & notes tab on the left.
    The History & notes tab has two sections: Notes and History.

    Result: A list of past sessions with the current in-session device is displayed on the History section.

  2. Select an entry from the list of past sessions to view the Session notes and the Logfile.

    The History section includes the following terms:

    Technician
    Specifies the name of the technical specialist involved in the support session.
    Date & time
    Specifies when the support session started.
    Session ID
    Specifies the 10-digit identifier of the support session.
    Duration
    Specifies the total amount of time the support session lasted.
    You can copy the Session notes and the Logfile to the clipboard.
