Remote control a customer's computer in the Web Technician Console

Use remote control to operate the customer's device.

Before you begin: Requirements:

The agent's Technician Group must have permission to launch remote control sessions.

The session must be Active.

  1. On the Technician Console Customer Desktop tab, select Remote control.
  2. Use the Remote Control toolbar to manage the remote session.

    Result: All other Workspace tabs remain available.

  3. To end remote control, click the red X End Remote Control on the Remote Control toolbar.

    Result: Remote control ends, but the session remains active.
