RemotelyAnywhere version 12.4.5543 - April 10, 2025

  • When you uninstall the RemotelyAnywhere host software, certificates created by the host are also removed.
  • The HTML-based file manager now supports downloading files with names containing non-ASCII characters.
  • OpenSSL 3.0.15 is now supported on Windows hosts. New icon
  • On Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008R2, the following features are available again on the Dashboard:
    • The Performance Info > Open Files menu
    • The Performance Info > Registry Keys in Use menu
    • The Computer Management > Reboot Options > Hard Reboot option
    • In the Computer Management > Processes menu, when you select a process, the Open Files and Registry Keys in Use tabs are now accessible
  • Removed deprecated Windows Vista drivers.
  • During remote control in a Terminal Server Session, the Ctrl+Alt+Del button is applied to the currently viewed session, rather than to the console session.
  • Security and stability improvements.

Network Console version 9.1.361 - February 22, 2024

  • Command prompt in Network Console doubled keystrokes when using PowerShell version 7 and behaved unexpectedly when using PowerShell version 6. This issue only occurred when using Network Console version 9.1.353 to connect to RemotelyAnywhere clients running version 12.4.5242.
  • In NetworkConsole, keyboard capturing did not work as expected when you switched between tabs on your client computer during remote control.
  • The dashboard was displayed without the toolbar when it was started with the following command:

    NetworkConsole.exe openra -computer <machineName> -login <username> -ssl -pass <password>.

    In this case, it was not possible to start remote control, file manager, and Command Prompt operations from the host's dashboard.

Network Console version 9.0.255 - June 10, 2022

  • Browser support for RemotelyAnywhere ends in Internet Explorer 11. As of June 15, 2022, Microsoft removes Internet Explorer 11 from Windows versions 10 and 11. As a result, the full feature set of RemotelyAnywhere will only be available in Network Console on those operating systems.
