How do I set up a connection to RemotelyAnywhere?

Please determine if your needs are for LAN (network) only or you need public (WAN) access to the machine.

Local Area Network (LAN) access

Ensure that any local firewalls installed on the Remotely Anywhere machine allow the port to be open.

For Wide Area Network (WAN) access

You will need to open / port forward within your router for Remotely Anywhere traffic to pass through.

Note: GoTo representatives cannot assist customers with their router configurations. If you are unsure on how to Port Forward, please visit http://portforward.com, or look to our other products; Free and Pro2, which are designed to function over the Internet.
