Installing the client app on a Phone or Tablet

Install the client app on any iOS or Android device that you want to use to connect to computers in your account.

Android

Install LogMeIn for Android directly to your device from Google Play. Your device must meet the requirements shown in the store listing.

  1. On your Android device, tap Google Play.
  2. Search for LogMeIn.
  3. Tap LogMeIn.
  4. Follow all on-screen instructions.
    Remember: You will not need your Google Play user name and password to sign in. Instead you will create a LogMeIn ID and password that you use to access your account.

iOS

You can install the client directly to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch from the App Store. Your device must meet the requirements shown in the store listing.

  1. On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, tap App Store.
  2. Search for LogMeIn.
  3. Tap LogMeIn.
  4. Follow all on-screen instructions.
    Remember: You will not need your App Store user name and password to sign in. Instead you will create a LogMeIn ID and password that you use to access your account.

Example: Control your Work Computer from your Phone or Tablet

You want to use your phone to access your work computer while on vacation.

  1. Before going on holiday, create a LogMeIn account from any computer.
  2. On your work computer (PC or Mac), log in to you account. On the Computers page, install the host, by selecting Add Computer at the top. Follow the on-screen instructions.
  3. On your phone or tablet, install the client app as described above.
  4. On your phone or tablet, open the client app, log in to your account, and access your work computer.

Simple as that.
