Reinstall the LogMeIn host software

You should uninstall and then reinstall the host.

Uninstalling the software on Windows

  1. Go to Start > Control Panel.
    • In Windows 7 or newer: Program and Features.
    • In XP or 2000: Add/Remove Programs.
  2. Scroll down to LogMeIn and select it.
  3. Select either Uninstall or Change/Remove depending on your OS.
  4. Reboot the computer.

Reinstalling the software on Windows

  1. Log into your account.
  2. Select the Add computer button and select the product you wish to install.
  3. Proceed through the install wizard.

Uninstalling the software on Mac OS X

  1. On the Finder menu bar of your desktop, select Go > Applications.
  2. Double-click LogMeIn. The host toolkit is displayed.
  3. On the About tab, select Uninstall.
  4. Select Yes. Uninstallation of the host begins.
Note: A reboot is recommended, but not required.

Reinstalling the software on Mac OS X

  1. Log into your account.
  2. Select the Add computer button and select the product you wish to install.
  3. Download the install package (it should auto launch).
  4. Proceed through the install wizard.
