Remember: Windows updates are available for users with Premium licenses.

This view helps you easily identify devices that need your attention. The number of available Windows updates is displayed in the OS updates column, while missing application updates are shown in the Application updates column.
  3. Find the device where you want to install software patches.
  4. Select the number of updates in the OS updates or Application updates column.
Note: If you see Unknown displayed in these columns, LogMeIn Resolve could not identify any missing software update on the remote device.
You are navigated to the Devices > Updates page.
  5. Select the updates that you want to install on the remote device.
When you are looking to install OS patches, you can filter for Important and critical updates with the respective filter at the top of the list.

      • Important: A vulnerability whose exploitation could result in compromise of the confidentiality, integrity, or availability of user data, or of the integrity or availability of processing resources. Microsoft recommends that you apply Important updates at the earliest opportunity.
      • Moderate: Impact of the vulnerability is mitigated to a significant degree by factors such as authentication requirements or applicability only to non-default configurations. Microsoft recommends that you consider applying the security update.
      • Low: Impact of the vulnerability is comprehensively mitigated by the characteristics of the affected component. Microsoft recommends that you evaluate whether to apply the security update to the affected systems.
    • Release notes: A link to Microsoft's release note about the specific Windows update.
    • Mandatory: Displays whether it is a mandatory update. Mandatory updates are forced to be installed after a while.
    • Reboot required: Displays whether a device reboot is necessary to finish the installation of the Windows update.
