Note: We often make new features and services available to only a subset of users so we can learn from user behavior and resolve issues. This means that sometimes different user experiences are available simultaneously, which helps us make our products better for all users.
October 14, 2025
- LogMeIn Antivirus version 7.9.26.567 has been released with the following improvements:
- The QUIC protocol is now bypassed when the Scan SSL option is enabled.
- You can now create certificate hash exclusions through the Windows Antimalware Scan Interface (AMSI).
- Volume Encryption is now supported on endpoints running Windows 10 and 11 IoT Enterprise, including IoT Enterprise LTSC.
- Antimalware on-demand scan console commands now support parameters to limit CPU usage and ignore exclusions.
- Security content version is now displayed correctly in the Event Log area.
- Product installation through relay no longer fails when communicating with Bitdefender Cloud Services through a proxy.
- Updates are no longer incorrectly reported in the timeline after each service restart or system reboot. This issue occurred even when no updates were downloaded or updates were disabled by a policy.
- Contextual scan no longer causes Windows Explorer to crash.
- Fixed an issue where the security agent caused high memory usage.
- In some cases, the Update Server unexpectedly reset the connection to endpoints.
- Virtual machines hosted on Nutanix were incorrectly identified as physical devices.
- Fixed an issue where the Network Protection module prevented certain applications from loading.
- Folder exclusions now apply to executables launched via shortcuts.
- Firewall outbound rules now match connections correctly when used with a VPN.
- Network Protection no longer causes Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) connections to fail when Scan SMTPS is enabled.
- The enabled Firewall module no longer degrades file transfer performance on network shares.

- From June 2, 2025, customers using SSO to sign in to LogMeIn Central will have a different sign-in experience. This change makes Single Sign-On more robust and will use GoTo's common identity platform that grants access to all your GoTo products. - New user permissions are available on the host that have an effect during remote control:
- Blank Screen enables the screen blanking option on the remote control toolbar
- Keystrokes allows sending keystrokes during remote control
- Ctrl-Alt-Del allows sending a Ctrl-Alt-Del command to the host. In the current implementation, even if you disable the Ctrl-Alt-Del option, it will still be available during remote control, but it will have no effect on the remote host.
- When you turn on the firewall in LogMeIn Antivirus, you can now enable attaching remote printers. By default, it is disabled. It can be enabled by modifying a Windows registry key as described in Enable remote printing when using LogMeIn Antivirus

As we are discontinuing this service, you are recommended to download your files before you lose access to your online storage space. - You can now update the host software from command line with the logmein update command.
- Not all user restrictions were applied properly to the host application. To change user restrictions, in the LogMeIn Control Panel, go to the and under User Access Control, select Show details.
- It was possible to remote control a host while monitoring the host's screen. To monitor - that is, only to view - a host's screen, select from the host's dashboard.
- The HTML fallback option did not work when you opened a desktop share link.
- The host software version was incorrectly displayed on the Windows Installed Apps page.
- When you changed the language of the LogMeIn Client app, only the Remote view and Computer info options were displayed for your hosts.
