  • LogMeIn Antivirus version 7.9.20.519 has been released that includes the following improvements:
    • Improved functionality to automatically unlock non-boot drives, even after the Volume Encryption license expires, ensuring continued ease of access.
    • Fixed a Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) error affecting Windows 11 version 24H2 (10.0.26100.3037) endpoints.
    • Fixed an issue where endpoints lost network connectivity after upgrading to product version 7.9.19.495.
    • Fixed a crash affecting endpoints running product versions 7.9.11.412 or older during the update process.
    • Resolved an issue that made the user interface unresponsive.
    • Fixed high memory consumption during large file transfers.
    • Optimized the security agent's memory usage.
    • Fixed an issue where certain On-demand scan tasks froze when multiple tasks ran simultaneously.
    • Enhanced folder exclusion processing for wildcards and network paths.
    • Resolved an issue causing false positives during website validations when untrusted certificates ignored timeout errors.

  • From June 2, 2025, customers using SSO to sign in to LogMeIn Central will have a different sign-in experience. This change makes Single Sign-On more robust and will use GoTo's common identity platform that grants access to all your GoTo products.   • When you uninstall the LogMeIn host software, certificates created by the host are also removed.
  • The HTML-based file manager now supports downloading files with names containing non-ASCII characters.
  • In some cases, host software update automatically started even when the auto update feature was disabled in the host preferences. To disable auto updates on a host, open the LogMeIn Control Panel and go to Options > Preferences. On the Advanced tab, clear the Download and install updates automatically option.
  • The host-side user consent dialog has been improved. At the beginning of an HTML remote control session, remote users see the correct message when they reject the connection request.
  • Implemented security improvements related to Antivirus management.

    • Blank Screen enables the screen blanking option on the remote control toolbar
    • Keystrokes allows sending keystrokes during remote control
    • Ctrl-Alt-Del allows sending a Ctrl-Alt-Del command to the host. In the current implementation, even if you disable the Ctrl-Alt-Del option, it will still be available during remote control, but it will have no effect on the remote host.
    You can set these permissions in the LogMeIn Control Panel as described in Specify user access rights.
  • When you turn on the firewall in LogMeIn Antivirus, you can now enable attaching remote printers. By default, it is disabled. It can be enabled by modifying a Windows registry key as described in Enable remote printing when using LogMeIn Antivirus New icon

  • On Windows hosts, you can now use the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\LogMeIn\V5\CommandPrompt\DefaultTerminal registry key to set the default terminal application. Use value 1 for PowerShell or value 2 for command line. New icon
  • You can now update the host software from command line with the logmein update command. New icon
  • Not all user restrictions were applied properly to the host application. To change user restrictions, in the LogMeIn Control Panel, go to the Options > Preferences > Security tab and under User Access Control, select Show details.
  • It was possible to remote control a host while monitoring the host's screen. To monitor - that is, only to view - a host's screen, select Computer Management > Monitor Host Screen from the host's dashboard.
  • The HTML fallback option did not work when you opened a desktop share link.
  • The host software version was incorrectly displayed on the Windows Installed Apps page.
  • When you changed the language of the LogMeIn Client app, only the Remote view and Computer info options were displayed for your hosts.
