View connection quality information during remote control sessions
LogMeIn Central monitors network quality during remote control and displays a warning message when there is reduced service quality.
A remote control session in LogMeIn Central has three participants:
- The 'client' computer that you are sitting at. A client can be a desktop or mobile device.
- The remote 'host' computer that you want to control. This is the device where the host software is installed.
- The 'gateway' that serves as a matchmaker between the client and the host. This is a server that is responsible for securely routing data between the client and the host.
When there is a network issue anywhere in the connection during remote control, a warning message is displayed that notifies you about the reduced service quality.

This message is displayed only twice during a remote control session, so that it does not disturb your work even when your network connection quality fluctuates.
Note: Currently, this message is not displayed on mobile clients.
