Managing third-party applications in LogMeIn Central
With Application Updates you can control how third-party applications are installed on all supported Windows hosts in your account.
Available on Windows hosts only.

Required host software: host software for Windows 4.1.0.14892 or newer.
Who can use this feature? Application Update is available to any Account Holder of a former LogMeIn Central Premier subscription, or a current Base plan plus Security module subscription and to the users of such accounts with the following permissions: Application update management.
Make sure your LogMeIn Central version and your Windows OS is supported and is up-to-date. To find out the latest LogMeIn Central version check out the Release Notes.
Applications you can manage with Application Updates
Application Updates is a feature available to former LogMeIn Central Premier and current LogMeIn Central Base plan plus Security module subscribers.
Application Updates uses OPSWAT as a provider and supports computers running host version 4.1.0.14892 or later. To see which applications OPSWAT supports, visit their website.
Activate Application Updates
Select the host computers for which you want to activate Application Updates.

Update third-party applications on a single host
Choose how applications are updated with OPSWAT on the host.
Available on Windows hosts only.
Results: The updates are applied to any host that is online. For any host that is offline, the updates are applied when the host next comes online.

Disabling the Application Updater
Application Updater gets stuck during install
When the command was sent to the host, the signal was interrupted or lost connection temporarily or your host is running an older version of the host software.
Symptom
When trying to install the Application Updater, the installation fails to complete.
Solution One: Update the host software
The required host software is version 14838 or higher.
To update the software:
- From the host computer, open the LogMeIn Control Panel
- Select About.
- Select Check for Updates.
The host will update to the most recent available version of the host software.
Solution Two: Restart the installation
- In LogMeIn Central, go to the menu on the left.
- Select the host that is experiencing the issue.
- Select Change Settings.
- Set Update options to Disabled and select Save settings.
- Select the host again and select Change Settings.
- Set Update options to Manual and select Save settings.
The Application Updater is pushed to the host.
