Move a computer to another LogMeIn Central account

To move a computer from your account to another, or to bring a computer from another account to yours, you need to have access to the LogMeIn Control Panel on that machine.

Note: A computer can be attached to one account at a time. Therefore, you cannot access the same remote host from two different accounts.
  1. On the computer you want to move, open the LogMeIn Control Panel and select the About tab.
  2. On the About tab, select Switch Account.

    Result: You are prompted to log in.

  3. Log in using a LogMeIn ID that has access to the account that should receive the computer.
  4. If prompted, assign a subscription.
  5. Enter a description (name) for the computer.
  6. Select Continue.

    Result: The host software restarts. The computer is assigned to the new account.
