Execute an eQuote

Your sales representative may assign you an eQuote to purchase a LogMeIn Central subscription. When you have an active eQuote, the Go to the eQuote page button is displayed on your Computers page.

Here's how to access and execute a pending eQuote:

  1. Sign into your account. You should see a notification that says The eQuote you requested is ready for use.
    Optionally, you can also sign in to GoTo Admin, which is our common admin platform that allows you manage your subscriptions. In GoTo Admin, you will find your eQuote in the Billing > Quotes menu.
  2. Select Go to the eQuote page. The eQuote page is displayed.
  3. Select the relevant Quote Code and select Continue.
  4. Fill in your billing and payment information.
  5. Select the I have read and agree to the Terms and Conditions check-box.
  6. Select the Purchase button.

Results: Your order is processed.

Combining LogMeIn Central accounts

LogMeIn Central accounts cannot be combined into one. However, you can move all of your computers from various accounts into one account.

Cancelled subscription reactivation inquiry

As requested, we turned off auto-renew on your subscription, and billing has stopped. We have provided a grace period after cancellation to allow additional time for any transition. We have noticed continued activity on your service during the grace period.

Move or reassign a LogMeIn Pro seat

You can assign a LogMeIn Pro "seat" to a computer in your account so that the computer is available for remote access.

Here are two common scenarios when you may need to move a seat.

Move a seat from a computer you no longer need

Let's assume you have purchased a LogMeIn Pro subscription that allows access to up to five computers. Let's say one of your LogMeIn Pro "seats" was automatically assigned to a computer that you no longer need to access. You need to make that seat available and assign it to a different PC or Mac.

    Make a seat available by deleting a computer from your account.

    1. Go to www.logmein.com.
    2. Log in to your account using your LogMeIn ID (email address) and password. The Computers page is displayed.
    3. Find the computer you no longer want to access and select Properties > General Settings.
    4. Select Delete this computer.
      Following the above example, you now have four seats assigned out of five available seats. To put it another way, you can access four of your computers and you have one available seat waiting to be assigned.

    Enable the available seat on the correct computer.

    1. While still logged in to your account, go to the Computers page.
    2. Find the computer that will use the available seat.
    3. Select the Enable link for that computer.

Results: The available seat is assigned to the computer. The computer is enabled for remote access. Following the above example, all five seats are now assigned. You can access all five computers in your account.

Reassign a seat to the same computer after operating system upgrade

Let's say you update your computer's operating system (for example, from Windows 10 to Windows 11 or from macOS Sonoma to Sequoia). Even though it is the same computer, you still need to delete the previous instance of the host from your account. Then you need to reinstall the host and make sure the seat is assigned.

The available seat is assigned to the computer. The computer is enabled for remote access.

    Make the seat available by deleting the "old computer" from your account.

    1. Go to www.logmein.com.
    2. Log in to your account using your LogMeIn ID (email address) and password. The Computers page is displayed.
    3. Find the "old computer" and select Properties > General Settings. (By "old computer" we mean the same computer you want to access, but with the previous operating system.)
    4. Select Delete this computer.

    Reinstall the LogMeIn Pro host software.

    1. Make sure you are sitting at the computer with the new operating system (the computer you want to access).
    2. While still logged in to your account, go to the Computers page.
    3. Select Add Computer.
    4. Follow the on-screen instructions to download and install.

Results: The available seat is assigned to the computer. The computer is enabled for remote access. Following the above example, all five seats are now assigned.

About expired LogMeIn Pro trials

No credit card information is required for the free trial of LogMeIn Pro. Your trial starts when you create an account and perform any of the following.

  • Add a computer (install the host software)
  • Access Files for LogMeIn Pro for the first time while logged in at LogMeIn.com
  • Open your Files drive from the client

After your LogMeIn Pro trial expires, you will be asked if you would like to purchase a subscription. If you decide not to purchase LogMeIn Pro, you will be unable to access any computers added to your account. You are never charged for LogMeIn Pro until you actively purchase a subscription.

Making a one-time purchase of LogMeIn Central

Because GoTo is a software as a service company, we only offer LogMeIn Central as a subscription to be paid according to a plan. It is not possible to purchase LogMeIn Central permanently, as GoTo is providing your connectivity as a service in addition to the host and client software.

About the GoTo Affiliate program

GoTo does not offer an affiliate program at this time. Although we allow our subscribers to purchase and resell our products, we do not have a system in place to facilitate billing and tracking.
